ELLYN GWILLIM
Ellyn Gwillim started dancing at the age of 3 at the Beverly School of Performing Arts, Harrow, UK and has not stopped developing and learning all that she can in this field since. Ellyn is trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Vocals and has completed exams in Tap, Ballet and Jazz.Since moving to Australia in 2006 Ellyn has competed in various QLD Eisteddfods and competitions. She participated in the annual ATOD Australasian Scholarships and was QLD State Jazz champion two years running, culminating in winning the David Atkins award in 2014.
Ellyn studied Dance and Drama at high school and finished Year 12 with the highest mark possible in Dance. She was involved in two Musicals in lead roles and held the coveted position of Creative Industries School Captain 2013/2014.
Ellyn has been teaching all styles of dance for the last 5 years under the watchful eyes of her mentors and Dance Teachers at DanceEdge Studios, Sunshine Coast, QLD. And now at many local studios in Sydney. She has choreographed solos and group routines for high schools, dance eisteddfods and end of year concerts with excellent results.
Ellyn moved to Sydney in 2015 to follow her dreams of studying dance full time. As of December 2017 she completed her Advanced Diploma in Performing arts and is excited to share her passion for dance and performing with Momentum Dance Studios.
